Greetings, Parents and Friends of Albany School!
Albany School is preparing for the Capitol Project to commence on April 19, 2010. Our faculty was addressed by a panel of architects, contractors and designers this month. The open and clear line of communication and information from the capitol project team will continue with parent information nights and neighborhood meetings. This exciting construction/renovation project will be laid out to you in the very near future. I will keep you informed in the upcoming months.
Our third, fourth and fifth grade students will begin taking NYS assessments the week of April 26th, the day we return from Spring Break. It is critical that everyone comes back rested and ready to do their best.
We will have a State Assessment Information for each of the testing grades 3-5 this month. If your child is in one of the testing grades please plan on coming to school on March 17th at 3:30 pm. Parents of third grade students will report to Mrs. Dispirito's room 305, 5th grade parents will report to Mr. Calhoun's room 303 and 3rd grade parents will report to the library.
