Greetings Parents and Friends of Albany School

 

The school year is over and another year has flown by!

 

We are very busy with field trips, moving up ceremonies and end-of-year events.

 

Students have completed all the state assessments and Terra Nova tests.  All the results from these assessments will be carefully analyzed and used for next year's academic plan. 

 

Albany School students have had several exciting events in May and early June.  We had the honor of hosting an amazing man called Scott Flansburg, aka, the Human Calculator.  Scott Flansburg is in the Guiness Book of World Records for his fantastic ability to calculate Math Facts.  I would like to thank Mayor David Roefaro for bringing the Human Calculator to Albany School and for being present at the performance.  You can watch News 10 Now's interview at Albany school with Mr Flansburg and two of our students on the web at http://new10now?default.aspx?ARID=472619
